SPIG-LITE

SPIG-LITE Spigots: Fast Installation Without Channels

SPIG-LITE represents a breakthrough in glass balustrade installation. By eliminating the need for traditional channels, you get faster installation times and a cleaner aesthetic. With only two spigots required per metre of glass and a single M12 bolt per spigot, you'll cut installation time significantly while maintaining structural integrity.

SPIG-LITE spigots deliver clean lines and maximum glass visibility for balustrades without the need for base channels. Perfect for residential balconies and pool fencing, these innovative spigots bolt directly into your substrate with just one fixing per spigot.

Understanding the SPIG-LITE System

The SPIG-LITE system revolutionises how glass balustrades are installed across Australia and New Zealand.

Traditional spigot systems require base channels that can interrupt clean lines and reduce glass visibility. SPIG-LITE changes this entirely. The system bolts directly into concrete, timber, or steel substrates without any channel requirements.

Each SPIG-LITE spigot requires just one M12 screw or bolt for fixing. Position spigots at 500mm centres on standard 1 metre glass panels, starting 250mm from each end. This spacing ensures optimal load distribution while minimising the number of fixings required.

The system is ideal for single family domestic dwellings where load requirements meet residential standards. It provides excellent holding power while maintaining the sleek, minimal aesthetic that architects and designers demand.
